The Demystification of Production

Purpose of the Session
We know that production is arguably the riskiest part of the creative campaign lifecycle – it’s expensive, it’s intense and it’s the moment that successfully landing a creative concept is truly tested. However it’s often facilitated at the last minute, operates behind a wall of smoke and mirrors and can be treated as a bit of an after-thought.

Every brand executes production differently. And every production is always different. With such a myriad of ways of making, how do we navigate ensuring a successful production takes place? What do producers even do? And why are there a ton of people of set for what is seemingly a simple execution?

We are here to have open chat about production. To demystify the process. To understand how best to utilise your production partners and teams across your business, which will support your mission to raise the bar and elevate the work. Especially in-house.

We will also address the community’s anonymous and candid response to the following 3 questions:

Do you think in-house production is a creative role?
What things do you think in-house production needs to do in order to raise the standard of creative output?

We will then round off our session with some hints and tips, which you can take away with you for your next (likely last minute) production.
