Operational AI

Many businesses are preoccupied with the glitz and the promise of Generative AI, when Operational AI perhaps offers more immediate and sustainable marketing transformation. While GenAI comes with a host of unknowns and uncertainties, leveraging AI to automate previously manual, repetitive processes within a brand’s marketing operations not only frees up strategic and creative resource, but enables significant time and cost savings.

At this In-House Agency Leaders Club breakfast, we will explore the operational opportunities for AI with ITG Head of AI, Lauren McBride, and Ian Hudson, Chief Production Officer, ITG.

Lauren McBride brings a wealth of experience from both client-side and agency leadership roles, having worked with some of the world’s most prominent brands across FMCG, Health & Life Sciences and Technology. She’ll offer insights into the theory behind Operational AI what it is, why it matters, and how to think about it at scale.

Ian Hudson oversees global content creation across ITG, including its Capture Studios facility and in-house studios for John Lewis Partnership, Matalan and many others. Before joining ITG, Ian served as Head of Operations for EMEA at Tag and was part of the founding team at Hogarth Worldwide. Ian will bring Operational AI to life with real-world examples, showing how it’s being applied on the ground today.

We will also be updating the community on the work of IHALC’s AI Working Group, which has been helping members to build an AI strategy and use cases as well as discussing the barriers to implementation.
