One-Day Summit: May 2026

Our flagship event for in-house agency leaders returns

Save the date: IHALC’s One-Day Summit, in partnership with Monday.com and JW Collective, will bring together over 100 in-house agency leaders to explore their biggest challenges.

Our theme this time is Partners: in-house teams don’t exist in a vacuum. Success comes from understanding your remit and working with the right partners to deliver it.

Confirmed Speakers:

Tom Evans: Head of The Kitchen North America, Kraft Heinz’s much-lauded in-house agency. Tom will be sharing standout examples of work from The Kitchen which demonstrate the value its in-house team brings to the business.

Visha Kudhail: Marketing Leader & Author – Authentic Marketing. Visha is an award-winning global marketing leader. Her career spans leadership roles at iconic companies  – Pinterest, Google, YouTube, Square, and Thinkbox, where she has built marketing functions from the ground up, scaled teams internationally, and repositioned brands. She is the author of Authentic Marketing (Kogan Page, published June 2026), exploring how to build brands that balance brand and business growth with authenticity. Visha will be giving us a marketer’s perspective on partnerships with creative teams, the complexities of marketing and ensuring outside and inside strategies line up.

Andy Sandoz: following senior roles in agencies and a year as D&AD President, Andy joined Deloitte as its first creative partner. There, he integrated creativity deep into core business strategy, technology and transformation, working widely across functions such as finance, tax, cyber, supply chain and sustainability. We’ll be talking to him about how in-house creative leaders can develop influence and drive transformation beyond marketing.

Sam Dawson, Head of Creative Studio, OVO, and Ciara Bailey, Managing Partner, Publicis Le Shop: finding the right model is crucial for in-house success. We’ll be talking to Sam and Ciara about how they make their hybrid model work, and the advantages it brings.

Mandy Combes, Head of Operations, BBC Creative, and John Owen, WDC: proving your value to the business is always a big challenge for in-house agencies. Mandy and John will be sharing how BBC Creative built effective tools and processes to do just that.

Murray Stevens, Head of Creative and Content, Waitrose, and Ben Kerr, Founder, Cold Glass Productions: Murray and Ben will share the story of Dish from Waitrose, the award-winning podcast presented by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, which now enjoys over 10 million views every week.

Natalie Brewster, Director of Brand & Creative, PayPal. Natalie will be joining Harriet Playford and Nicky Russell of marketing operations consultancy WDC for a session which reframes menopause from a narrative of decline to one of leadership evolution. The creative industry is often shaped by youth bias, and many experienced leaders rarely have the space to channel their wisdom into shaping culture and policy. This session challenges that norm, spotlighting how in-house leaders, with their creative, curious and systems-thinking mindset – are uniquely positioned to reframe the conversation, honouring experience rather than sidelining it.
